Drill Pipe Casing Tool (SHDPCT)

The STRONGHOLD Drill Pipe Casing Tool (SHDPCT) is a heavy-duty hands-free safety tool specifically designed for the safe movement and positional control of large single casing pipes and pipe bundles during casing running operations, drill pipe installation, and tubular handling on the rig floor and pipe deck.

The SHDPCT features a distinctive arc-shaped cradle profile that conforms to the outer diameter of large casing pipes, providing enhanced grip, load stability, and directional control while keeping the handler at a safe physical distance from the moving load — a critical requirement during casing running operations where pipe ODs and weights are significantly higher than standard drill pipe.

The integrated hook enables direct tag line attachment, facilitating fully hands-free operations where the tool acts as the primary control interface between the operator and the pipe — eliminating the need for direct hand contact during lifting, landing, and positioning. This is especially valuable during casing installation on wells in the UAE and wider Arabian Gulf region, where high ambient temperatures and offshore deck conditions increase slip and fatigue risk.

Designed in accordance with IADC and international offshore safety guidelines for pipe handling and dropped object prevention. Recommended for use by derrickmen, floormen, and pipe deck operators on land rigs, jackup rigs, and fixed offshore platforms across the MENA region.
