PD-01 Pin Removal Tool Up to 20T

The PD-01 Pin Removal Tool is a medium-duty industrial extraction tool designed for the removal and replacement of bucket tooth pins, adapter pins, and lock pins on excavators, loaders, and heavy construction equipment up to 20 tonnes — the most common machine weight class deployed across infrastructure, civil works, mining, and oilfield support operations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, and the wider MENA region.

Also known in the industry as a chicken bar or pin punch, the PD-01 features a dual-prong head configuration with a square prong (100mm × 6mm × 14mm) and a circular prong (110mm × 10mm diameter). The square prong engages the square-profile pin openings common in medium excavator bucket tooth systems, while the circular prong addresses round pin profiles and lock pins — giving the operator a single tool that covers both pin geometries found on 20T-class earthmoving equipment.

At 430mm total length, the PD-01 provides additional reach over compact tools, enabling operators to apply precise, controlled hammer strikes to bucket tooth pins even when buckets are partially filled or access is restricted by the attachment geometry. This is particularly important during fast tooth change cycles on busy civil construction sites, where machines rarely stop long enough for full bucket removal. The longer handle also improves operator safety by keeping hands further from the striking zone during impact operations.
